A survey should be taken every time that you buy a home. It validates what the seller is stating
It also validates your purchase, that you are receiving the lot and block parcel that is listed for
sale.It also allows you before you purchase to know if there are any encrochments/easements by your neighbors, utility companies, municipalities.

When you buyer a home. it is important to get a new survey.
You need to know if the neighbors shed is on your property, or vias versa.
Are the setbacks to code?
Is that treeline the property line or is that on town property?

And then, when you put in markers, there is never any question where the property line is in the future.
