Lisa before you finalized this deal you came to this forum and there were several agents that told you the renters' will most likely stay in the property and you WILL have to evict then through the court. The tenants do NOT have to move unless a court enforces an eviction. Unless the tenants are willing to move you need to go through the courts to evict them. And by the way, tenants need a 60 day notice to move, the law has changed.

it depends on the lease they signed with the previous owners. if there were provisions for termination of the lease in case the property gets sold or if the renters surendered their rights and lease if the property got sold. if there is none of those you might be able to stay for the duration of the contract.
