Hello Joe,
I would have to agree with a few of the other people in that area. It can be a rough neighborhood depending on specific spots. There are some nice places in those areas but I would definately take some time and look around and also ride the area at different times at night and day. If you are ever interested in having some more information on this area please let me know I have grown up and lived in this area all my life and I would be more than happy to help you with your home search. If you want more info on that area check out my website http://www.YourSocalRealtor.com and see if there is more you can find out! Happy searching!
We just bought in Altadena and I would agree with Scastro- Woodbury is busy and that is not a great area. If you're buying West of Lake Avenue, the nicer streets are up higher, right next to the foothills
I would be careful. I travel down Woodbury every day (past El Molino) on my way to work and it can be a sketchy area (as well as VERY busy). You should use google maps to look up the address and take a look around the immediate area. Good luck.
Hello Jo! In my opinion, the area of El Molina and Woodbury is a good neighborhood. You are walking distance from the beautiful Westminster Church and I think you will find your neighbors are unusually nice - which has been my experience. Altadena in general has an eclectic diverse population and I believe a very inclusive feel. As an Altadenan, I welcome you to the community!!!
P.S. By the way, are you looking at the home at 835 Woodbury? If so I've been in it and it's a wonderful home being sold by a great agent in my office.
