Have you considered a mobile home in Pompano Beach Florida?
Very nice area close to FLL airport, shopping, etc
Have a fully renovated one in Pompano Beach that is 4.2 miles away from the beach.

Just under 1500 square feet of living space the 2 bed 2 bath is completely drywalled, granite kitchen with built in wine cooler and ceramic floors.

Master bath has his and hers sink and walkin jacuzzi tub.

Outdoor screened Florida sunroom has ceramic floors and tiki bar.

Backyard has cozy patio that leads to master bedroom and backyard has all plumbing and electric underground for a hot tub as ours is not included in the sale.

Hi Joan,

One of upscale communities in Vero Beach that is situated on the barrier island and offers horse boarding is Windsor. Please check http://www.windsorflorida.com/club/amenities/equestrian for more details.

Another well established community that offers horse boarding, but is located west of town, is Pointe West. Please check http://www.pointewestflorida.com/Default.aspxp=DynamicModule…

Those are my suggestions, but there are other choices if none of those communities suit your needs. I can e-mail you listings if you would like. Please contact me on my cell phone at 772-538-4855 or send me an e-mail ddekleyn@sorensenrealestate.com.

Respectfully,

Joan,
Thank you for your inquiry. There are many options for you, your husband and either living on a property that can accommodate a horse or to board.. There are many lakes, ponds and a river slightly west of the barrier island with such properties. Another option for you would be to live on the island and board your horse west of town which is no more than 10-15 minutes from the island. Depending on your criteria and your budget, there are many opportunities in beautiful Indian River County. Please call 772-538-2066 or visit my website at http://www.verorealestates.com.

Hi Joan.... I am a Florida native and have lived in Vero Beach 33 years. Vero is a beautiful town with lovely beaches, Right now is a terrific time to buy, as prices here are at an all time low. We have several options for boarding a horse, as well as homes with acreage that allow horses. I would be happy to help you find something that fits all your criteria, send me an email at: aldrda@aol.com or call me on 772-538-2646. You will love Vero! Dear Joan,

Having been from Jacksonville to Key West and Naples to Pensacola and most points in between I know the state very well. There are some amazing places to call home but many differences in weather, lifestyle and landscape; stay below Vero Beach on the east coast and Sarasota on the west coast if you want the best winter weather. You will find Vero to be right of the edge of the best weather; typically a few degrees cooler than you will find in Naples or Miami. A great little village but small and remote so a lot depends how active you are and the proximity you want to a little more action. One spot I would highly recommend you take a look at is the northern Palm Beach County area which in my opinion has the best of everything Florida has to offer. The best place I can point you is a brief blog I did about the Jupiter area;

http://tompriester.wordpress.com/2012/05/13/2352/

As a resident of Jupiter, I work throughout Palm Beach and Martin Counties, and a great place to start is by defining your goals and comparing the lifestyles and housing costs of areas that you are interested in. There are so many different options available to us that reside in the state and I have selected Jupiter because of the quality of life that we enjoy. From my viewpoint, there is no finer place to reside that the Jupiter area; from the best schools, to a fantastic economy fueled by many factors and of course the wonderful facilities of Max Planck and Scripps Institute, to incredible unspoiled beaches, unbelievable dining and shopping options, numerous boating and golf opportunities, uncrowded streets, low crime and just the overall kindness of our residents. Recently we were out with a client form New York who commented on just how nice everyone is; and why not as we are truly lucky to live in Paradise.

I work almost entirely as a buyers agent in Palm Beach and Martin Counties and certainly would be honored to be on the list of Realtors® you interview and happy to be of assistance in any way that I can. If you are in the area and would like a tour I would enjoy showing you why I am so fortunate to call Jupiter my hometown.

I hope this information is helpful but if you need anything additional please do not hesitate to give me a call.

Hi Joan,

Thank you for your interest in the Vero Beach area. As you know, it is big horse country, and the land values now are at historical lows. I need to know if you are looking at acreage, single family homes, something with existing stables, etc.

I would be delighted to help you in any way I can and send you the appropriate listings that match your search criteria. You can search the Indian River County MLS on my website: http://www.RealEstateofVero.com. Please feel free to email or call me anytime: 772.559.1295 or
kmsfla@gmail.com.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
