You want to be represented by a Buyers Agent who can represent your best interest in a real estate transaction. This means that your agent can run comparable solds to see if the value is there for the property and can also make recommendation as to what price and terms to put in your offer. If you worked with the listing agent or seller/agent he or she represents the seller and only owes fiduciary responsibility as well as confidentiality to the seller.Usually the seller pays the real estate fees for the listing and selling agents so it should not cost you any more money however in the longrun the buyers agent will negotiate you the best offer. Good Luck in your new home....Donna
