Hi Tiesam,

You'll need to work with a mortgage professional that understands credit scoring and can help you get your scores up to at least a 620.

I maybe able to get your scores up with something simple like paying down your current credit card balances and then doing a rapid re-score which only takes 2-3 days to complete.
You can find more information by clicking the link below to my VA mortgage website or by contacting me directly.

The other great thing about this program is the monthly mortgage insurance is substantially less than an FHA loan and you can roll your closing costs into the loan as long as the appraised value supports it.

If not possible right now, working with the right lender it might be possible to get your credit score updated and be able to qualify very soon. The gentleman listed below is a great resource and can help you with a loan.

Hello,

Typically, a credit score of 620 is required to obtain VA financing. That's not to say the everyone with a 620 score will qualify, as the Debt to Income Ratio also plays a part.

I would speak with a VA lender and get pre-qualified. They will be able to tell you more about your personal finances. I would recommend speaking with Dave Munns at Veterans United Home Loan. His company only does VA loans.
