out, 3 closing dates and we also found out that there was a lean on the house but our agent knew 3 weeks befour we were told because he said it was took care of, well it wasnt, now she is going to befvourclosed on, how long will the bank wait? could this be why they wont relise us from the contract? they want to try and get the house sold? can they make us buy the house?

What a mess! I don't think the bank can make you buy the house. If you still want it you could be sure the bank knows that or just wait it out and after the bank foreclosures on it, (a month or so from now) they will put it up for sale again and you may be able to pay less for it. Did you give an earnest money deposit? Your agent should be able to get that back for you. You really need to talk to your agent who should be able to tell you exactly what's going on. If not satisfied, find another Realtor to work with! When buying a home, esp a bank owned one, you've got to have someone working just for you for your protection.
