This home was a great value for a turn of the century Colonial with big rooms - BUT needed a lot of work, like a completely new kitchen, deck, etc. This is in the Watsessing Heights area of Bloomfield, close to the NYC train station. I know the area very well, and specialize in this area as well as finding similar great fixer-upper homes. BUT you need to be ready to move quickly, because they do go under contract rapidly.

Right now I know of several homes in the area that are available from a 3 bedroom for $154,000 (!) to a 5-6 bedroom home with a large yard. Some that need work, but are nice older homes in need of renovation, and others are very livable, move-in homes.
