Good housing Communities in Homestead, FL, are Keys Gate gated community and The shores both gated and reasonable price homes itsa better in a gated community if you dont mind Cookie cutter homes. I rented a home when we first moved here at the shores community and homes there are afforable and right now is the time to buy. Plus I like how their is plenty of side-walks to walk your dog or just go out and exercise. These two gated communities are nice. Redlands are really nice is you can afford over $400,000 to buy I bet some are even lower right now in this market so look in Redlands and these other two gated communites I mentioned.

The good news is that the majority of buildings have been rebuilt and to hurricane code. The bad news it it is a heavy traffic area for tropical storms.

Your criteria for a home is attainable but will require some good negotiation skills. Do your homework and enjoy your siccess.
