Ask friends for names of agents or use the MEMBER SEARCH on Trulia to find 3 or 4 agents. Call them on their cell phone. Don't go with the first agent you speak with. Choose the agent that knows the most and is honest. You can always call back the first agent if that is the best choice.

Paula, most defnitely get in touch with a buyer's agent so you can preview the home. I'm assuming you have not been inside or was there an open house that you attended? Even if it was an open house, you are still entitled to your own representation and thus can move forward with your agent. Good luck!

I do not work in that area, but you should contact a qualified agent from that area and have them work as your buyer's agent. Ask around for a couple of references, or do some research on the internet to find out who you should contact. Even if the property isn't listed on the MLS, an agent can represent you and work on your behalf.
Good luck.
