Issue: half of the house does not exist in public records: like 2ba/1b now is for sale as 3ba/2.5b guest house, Encino/CA. Can someone explain permits there? Thanks!

Hi Inna,

Public records may not have caught up with the actual property. You can go to the department of building and safety and pull the permits or as Richard pointed out hire a company that will pull the permits for you. I think that Permit Pullers may be out of business, but I can't say for sure. Good Luck...
