Hi Hassan,

Of course you can qualify to buy a condo in Florida.

Although there are many age restricted communities where you must be at least 55 years old to live there, there are hundreds that do not have an age qualification.

What do you have in mind as far as location within Florida? How large a condo do you wish to buy: # bedrooms, # baths, oceanview, golf course/country club community? Do you have any pets: dogs, cats, birds, etc.? There are many condos that do not allow pets. Then we get to the big question: how much are you planning to spend?

Please contact me directly and I will be glad to be of assistance.

Hi Hassan:

Sure you can qualify based on assets, reserves, earnings, FICO score,
debt to income ratio, any Foreclosures or REOs in the 4 years.

Banks are very interested in learning how will you pay them back after you get
a loan.

Good luck

Of course you can. ALL you need is a means to pay for the condo.
-
Now, your real question may have been, "I am 50 years old and want to buy a condo in a age restricted community in Florida. Can I?"
Again, in ALMOST 100% of situations the answer is YES!
-
Now, your really real quest may be, "I am 50 years old and want to buy a condo in an age restricted community in Florida...AND LIVE THEIR IMMEDIATELY.. Can I?"
-
Now you have a problem.
-
There are a FEW exceptions but you would be ill advised to start packing to move to the Sunshine State.
-
In most age restricted communities at least one owner must be within six months of the minimal age requirement. (some 55, some 57, some 62, some 65)The requirements can ONLY be determined AFTER identifying the specific property in which you have interest. Each community, even each building within a community, can have different requirements.

Spent the past weekend running along side a pod of dolphins on the beach at Honeymoon Island State Park. What a way to extend a 15 mile run.

Best of success to you,

many 55+ communities have the ability to allow a 50 year old in if they meet the other requirements. it would be easier to buy in a non 55+ community. We have lots of great ones. Feel free to call or email me with questions.

If you are looking to purchase in a 55 + age restricted condo, then you would not be allowed to purchase in that specific development. There are many condos that dont have age restrictions. Feel free to search my website: http://www.snaar.areaprorealtypalmbeach.com and call me to develop your specific criteria and a customized search: 561-445-9905
