If the home is yours... it is your house to use as you like. You cannot resale a house and advertise it as a bedroom unless it has a closet and can be conceived as a bedroom.

Good Luck!!!

Of Course the Living Room & Dining Room could be occupied as a Bedroom by the people that live in house. BUT, when a house is listed for sale, you CANNOT COUNT the Dining Room/Living Room as Bedrooms!!! For example, if house has 2 bedrooms 2 baths living, dining, study, in theory you can only count the study as a 3rd bedroom but not the living/dining rooms, K?

It just would not work. The layout would not allow it.

You can use any room for any purpose....However, a true bedroom has a door and closet. I would advise not to turn other rooms into bedrooms, this typically disrupts the "flow" of the home and acutally reduces the value...Call with questions. Kurt 203-640-5300 Sette Real Estate
