I love that area too! Many great places to walk to and hang out. When you are looking at specific addresses you can plug them into http://www.walkscore.com/ to see what the neighborhood has to offer in walking distance.

All the best,

Do you want a walkable neighborhood too? Definitely go a couple of blocks north of Wilshire near Fairfax, you can walk to The Grove/ Farmer's Market. Go west along 3rd and you have lots of places to eat, drink and shop. Majority are small independent stores. However, if you stay near La Cienega and 3rd, then you have the Beverly Center. And you have a mix of both major retailers along with smaller mom & pop shops. There are lots of places with great restaurants and shopping. It just depends on what you like. Each neighborhood has its own characteristic.

That is an excellent choice! That area is close to the museums, Farmer's Market and The Grove. There is so much to do on both Melrose and Beverly Blvd, both of which are north of Wilshire. That is quite the hot spot you've chosen.
