In todays market in the area of Neosho Missouri the credit rating most lenders are looking for is 620 and above. A good thing to do is to talk with a mortgage broker or banker and discuss the things that you could do to get your credit rating back in shape and they can help you meet that goal and alot of times give you a time frame as to 3 months, 6 months down the road if you continue to pursue correcting your credit they will have a program for you that will work for you. Definitely look into getting advice from a professional before ruling out the possiblities. It might be better and not as long as you might think to your home ownership.

Hi Cindie,

Your credit might not be as good as you like but it might qualify you for a loan. You can try an FHA lender or broker or even a local credit union that offers home loans. If you just need a credit score boost, then make sure to pay all your bills on time and pay down any credit card bills to 30% of the credit limit.
However, if you have late payments, slow pays, unpaid collections, etc this is more credit repair type of work. I can assist you in repairing your credit and help you rebuild your credit rating. Imagine how many more opportunities you will have in life with good credit, lower interest payments on a mortgage, little or no interest on car loans and positive screenings for a job, lower utility bills. Life is just easier with good credit!
