Ask your Miami real estate agent, or, look on his or her website. What you will need to ascertain is whether or not those Miami townhouses are governed by a condominium association or a homeowner's association.
Lending requirements for condo associations are far more stringent than they are for HOAs. If the condo does not have a sufficient reserve fund, and of if the building has more than 50% renters, some banks will not lend on those condos.
Townhomes in Miami governed by HOAs. however, usually do not have bank lending problems.
