Depending on the amount of space you want for the home and the amount of money you want to invest, we have several options in Meade County at this time (June 2008). FYI, we have a home (8,000 sf) with 25 acres for 1.2 million and then we have smaller farms/acreage with or without a home. So, the market is good for a buyer in Meade County.

I did a search from the local MLS for that area. I have enclose one that is sitting on 10 Acres for 135,000. I believe it is empty and the sellers are motivated. Doing an option on it till your home sells may be possible.

I did a quick search on the MLS and came across a 4000+ total sq ft. home on 14 acres on Sandbridge. It is priced at $270,000. Is your home currently on the market? If not I would highly recommend listing it soon if you want to advance forward in your future home buying plans.
