Pete,
Unfortunately, I am not a member of the MLS that serves that part of New York. but if the listing has been listed as expired, then I am thinking that the contract for the agent to list the property has run out. It may be back on the market shortly, they may have put a renter in, or they may be waiting for spring.
The best way to find out is to contact a real estate agent in the area and ask them to find out for you.
If you don't have an agent that you trust, let me know and I will have someone contact you with the information.
Good luck.
