I am a Realtor and I am sure speak for most real estate professionals when I say that first of all...a real estate agent can work with you and even FOR you without charging you anything...if you are a buyer...are you a buyer or a seller? (I see you wrote under the Home Buyer in the Bronx section but you never know so figured I'd ask).

That said...I personally like to make sure I have a few good recommendations for laywers, home inspectors and mortgage bankers so as to be able to make the home buying and/or selling experience as seamless and painless as possible.

You can always call your local Board of realtors for a local Realtor that is a member of NAR, and if you need a local inspector to work with you we can reffer a couple of them that we worked with them in the past.

Hi Lucia. You can also search for a local chapter of the National Real Estate Investor's Association (NREIA). These groups typically have home inspectors and real estate agents.
