Yes Doris it is a great time to buy here. Our prices are good, you can buy a very nice home for $250,000 or less. We are in a resort community, it's a small town feel, and we have a beautiful lake in town to go swimming in! We are only about 15 minutes from the freeways, junction of 215, 30, 210. The 210 just opened up all the way so it really only takes about 35 minutes to get to the 57, and with little traffic, about an hour to go to Pasadena. Our home values are remaining stable, unlike at the bottom of the hill.

It is an excellent time to buy in Crestline. Not only is Crestline a beautiful, fabulous, small town feel, place to live it has some of the best deals in all of San Bernardino County. Also as in most markets right now Crestline has about double the inventory of homes availble than normal, prices are leveling out, and sellers are offering incentives such as paying for buyers closing costs. We are also seeing bank owned properties come on the market at lower than market value. Usually they need some TLC but can be a great opportunity to building some equity. Crestline is a great commuter location for those needing to drive down the hill for work, only 20 minutes to the base of the mountian, and Tuesday the 210 freeway will be completed. Crestline is the perfect place to feel like you are away from it all yet so close to everything you need.
