I can get you a competitive market analysis and tell you exactly what the house in question is worth in comparison to the price that they are asking. It would be my pleasure to help. I am from Chicago as well.

Getting a home near UTA for the right price is a good idea. But student rent near UTA doesn't bring in as much as other universities such as TCU, etc.. If you are looking for a personal home, there are some very neat neighborhoods around the school with a ton of character.

That is a terrific question. I see your also from Chicago hopefully the windy city is treating you well, I personally miss Navy per and the Cubs games more than anything. Yes, purchasing an estate near UTA can be a terrific buy depending on what you plan to do with it, in the end and what area you're purchasing in.

Obviously a lot will depend on your budget, targeted area and intensions.... Whether you're buying an investment property or using this estate for your primary residence. If you are still looking for assistance please feel free to call me directly.

Best place to start is to hire an Exclusive Buyer Agent. EBAs only work with homebuyers and there is never a conflict of interest that will jeopardize your negotiating position.

I am the owner/broker of one of Dallas' oldest and most successful Exclusive Buyer Agencies, HelpUBuy America. We charge a flat-fee for our services, so our fee is the same regardless of whether you buy a $150,000 home or a $500,000 home. This eliminates the conflict of interest that exists when you an agent is paid a commission based on the sales price of the home.

We've been protecting the rights of first-time homebuyers since 1995, and we'd love to assist you. I've also had a book published on Amazon called Buying a Home: Don't Let Them Make a Monkey Out of You. It'll be the best $6 you've ever spent.

Let me know if we can help.

The answer is that it depends. Depending on which neighborhood the home is located could determine if its value and if its a good buy.

Provide an address and I can give you some insight.
