is Robson fundamentally constrcuting poor quality homes or is a case by case situation where something was?

FIRST ANSWER

I have heard that Robson has developed a lackluster reputation but I cannot personally comment. KB homes recently has dealt with many litigation issues due to their lack of quality as well.
