I lived in Palmer Township for 9 years... and loved it. We are relocating due to a job change or else we'd still be there! There are some great neighborhoods... everything from older homes with tree lined streets to new construction.... depends on what you like and, of course, your budget! Hope you find something you love!

Easton is a mixed community. Like everywhere there are good areas and bad. I moved from Brooklyn to Easton 4 yrs ago and I will not move back to NY ever. Even though it has it share of crimes and problems is nothing compare from where I came from in NY. The schools are much better and it is not a boring place to live.

Agents are not allowed to answer such a question. You should go to Easton and drive around yourself, as only you can judge what neighborhoods you like/don't like and are suited for.

Easton is pretty mixed overall both economically and racially. There are certain sections that are really beautiful and have that antique-y feel but there are also blocks that look really run-down. You would really have to go check it out for yourself to see if you would be comfortable living in the area. On top of this, Palmer specifically can get really rural in areas too since it is a rather large township. We have lived in Easton for almost 2 years now and to be honest, certain sections I would not want to live in. Depending on your budget, you might want to check out Forks Twp. which is very much an up and coming suburb (with lots of ex Jersey and New York residents--many who still commute!) but the houses tend to be almost triple what they would cost in downtown Easton or Palmer. The plus side of Forks is that it really seems safe.
