I was wondering if you have found that property you were looking for in the Tampa area. I noticed you were having trouble finding the communte you were looking for and wondered if I could help. Please review my profile on Trulia and send me a message or email me directly at THoyt@prutropical.com
I promise no pressure, just help. Real Estate can be difficult at times.
You can review sold data, active market data, school data, crime data, and much more, all for free.
Hope this helps!
The only way you will be able to plow through the volume of information and successfully target a home to buy is with the help of a realtor. An agent will be able to sort through the information and provide you with the detailed stats to help you make your decision.
Although you may like stats and numbers, also add in the emotional side of the home; comfort, amenties etc. With an experienced agent you will be able to achieve and overcome your frustrations.

If you're not yet working with a Realtor, you're welcome to sign up for a free Listingbook account on my website:
It will allow you to see sold properties by zip code, map outline, and any other criteria. It will also reveal if a property is not available, "active with contract" are under contract and not available to buy and many websites will merely show these listings as "active". Also on a Short Sale, if the price has never been approved by the lender then it may not be possible to buy it for even tens of thousands above the listing price.
Your Realtor can also give you access to Listingbook.
All the best,

Inaccurate data plagues all of the third party real estate websites like Trulia. If you really want accurate data and property information you need to talk with a local Realtor. They will be able to pull the data you need from the local MLS. If you need some statistics or a free market analysis of your property, please feel free to call me.

If you want reliable, timely, accurate data, you need to graduate to serious sources.
Aggregate websites are for entertainment purposes. Getting actionable data from such sites is like getting life advise from reality TV shows.
Contact Geaorge and I bet he can plug you into the local MLS that IS the source of data you need.
Best of success to you,
