You can always ask the loan officer to take care of the closing cost if its not to late.

Dear Gloria,
You can ask, but know that the contract was already agreed upon as is. Further, if the bank receives a change like this can further delay closing for a great period of time depending on how responsive the bank is. Why are you now asking for closing help?

Absolutely. However be prepared to be denied of your request. You have a better chance if it's a short sale because the cost will not come out off the homeowners' pocket rather from the bank's net proceed. Write an addendum and have your agent present it to the seller's agent.

Everything is negotiable. But you would probably need to increase the sales price to add any closing help and the property value would have to be high enough to appraise with those costs added in.

Hi Gloria

You can if the bank counters your offer.

Good luck

You should have made that part of your offer. Very unlikely you will be able to ask for and receive them now, accept that the 3rd party counters, and you counter back adding the closing costs and the seller and 3rd party agree.

You can ASK;
Acceptance would be like, a million to one.
