i would love to own a home instead of renting the last 2yrs went down hill for me on my credit what what is
the possibility of owning a home ? at this time i pay 1300 rent.

I recently had some clients in the same circumstance. When they went to a lender to get prequalified, they found that they had too much debt and blemishes on their credit report.
They are now on a plan to pay down debt, keep payments timely and raise their credit score.
Depending on your down payment and where you want to live, you may find a home with a monthly mortgage similar to your rent.
Meet with a lender who will help. One step at a time you can become a homeowner.
