Hi Ruth,

I highly doubt that the owner was lying, especially if they wanted to sell their home. What website did you see the home listed on? Email me the address and I can do a history search for you to see if it was actually on the market. I hope to hear from you soon.

Could be a lead listing - were did you see it advertised? Did a realtor list it or were the owners fishing to see if there is any interest.

Looking for something in the area? I would be happy to help you find a property that IS for sale in the area you are considering. Use a buyers agent --- NO CHARGE TO YOU. The commission on a sales is agreed on at the time of listing between the seller and their agent. Lisitng agent is representing the seller.

Consider your search, negotiations and walk thru the process with a proffesional.

Give me a call --- I am happy to help.
