what could have happen for it to go bmk bid daily shouldn't hud go to the next highest bidder
Good Morning:
In order for HUD to accept your bid as the next highest, you need to enter your bid with the back up offer noted on the bid form.
If you did not do that, and no other bidders did either, the house is placed back on the market.
Hope this helps,
Judy
It happens and for many reasons. One commong reason is that the first buyer backed out or could not provide proof of their loan qualification. Either or it doesn't matter, just resubmit an offer. But I highly recommend you submit an offer higher than the first offer you submitted. Your realtor should know what the property should appraise for and if their is room to raise the price. ...Good Luck
Hello Sharia:
If you check the box to keep your offer as a back up offer it will place you in a position to be considered for the property if the first offer falls through. If your offer is too low for them to consider, they will relist the home for owner occupant priority. If there are no takers it goes to all bid.

Sharia, there could be a number of reasons why the home came back on the market. HUD, like any seller, ae looking to maximize their return. Perhaps the next bidder did not meet their minimum. Ask your Realtor to check the "back up offer" box on the bid submission form and also discuss with them your next course of action.
Good luck!
Lots of things could have happened. The buyer could have backed out for many different reasons. Then it's back on the market. Other offers very likely expired. And even if they didn't, there's no requirement that HUD accept the next one. If you like the house, make another offer on it.
