I don't mind answering your questions about which areas are safe, etc. There are other issues with east Las Vegas as far as some flood zones that you want to be aware of. We currently manage over 350 properties for our investors. We've been in Vegas since 1976. We specialize working with buyer/investors. Please call or write after Christmas and we'd be glad to help you. Matt and Kim.

For Safety, please check http://www.crimemapping.com/map/nv/lasvegas - enter full address
For schools, check out - http://www.ccsd.net
Google Maps has an overhead look that will often show you the neighborhood - just looking can be an excellent tool.
BTW - This was not a single family home - more like a townhome.
According to public records, listed price was $22,000. Actually sold for $28,000. Even with all the repairs, Not surprising in the tight markets today. Most homes in Las Vegas priced under $300,000 are selling at or above their listed price.

That area is ghetto. Just google the area. You will see alot of hispanic shops. Not that they are ghetto, but their unattended children tag up the whole area.

That is exactly why I asked ! Although I am Hispanic myself but I dont agree
with how some hispanics treat their surroundings I am used to Miami hispanics improving the race!!!!!!! Thank you for your honesty

Not sure if you know it or not, but we legally can't answer that question as Realtors. Each person's view of what is good area and what isn't is just too broad and it may look like we are steering you away or to certain areas. If you're looking for crime statistics, look to http://www.lvmpd.com for help.

What do you consider "good"?

Everyone defines a "good" area differently so I like to refer people to a couple helpful websites.

For information regarding crime in a particular area, this is a great resource - http://www.lvmpd.com

For information regarding schools in the area, this is a great website - http://www.ccsd.net

If you would like to discuss things in more detail or need some assistance, I would be happy to help. :)
