paid similat to an independent contractor and recieve a 1099 at the end of the year. not knowing that would effect my ability to purchase a home, i applied secured a lender for a home loan, however he rejected my case claiming that the underwriters wouldn't be able to approve me since i don't have a 2 year history of being paid with a 1099. is there any way i can buy a home without involving a bank or if i go through a bank, is there any way i can get approved based on my situation? i work the SAME shift, SAME hours, EVERY week and can prove it. my company just pays us as independent contractors for their own greedy gain! please help! i want to buy a home by thanksgiving!
