but ill also need assistance with the closing cost or down payment and some work needs done to the house before theyll actually give me the final approval... what do i do now?

i dont really know what a 'loan officer' is but i got it through quicken loans, if that helps any

FIRST ANSWER

Ask the seller to contribute to the closing costs in the contract, ask them to do the repairs or you need to do them, where is your loan officer?
