ASK YOUR AGENT TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT BEFORE IT EXPIRES AND ALSO ASK FOR THE PER DIEM TO BE WAVED AT THE SAME TIME. DO IT FAST IF THE CONTRACT IS NOT EXTENDED BEFORE IT EXPIRES IT IS HARDER TO GET THE PER DIEM WAVED. IF THE PER DIEM IS NOT WAVED YOU CAN ASK LENDER TO HELP. THEIR ARE OTHER THINGS YOU CAN DO ASK YOUR AGENT AND LENDER TO FIGURE THIS OUT THEY CAN HELP YOU.

First off, depending upon your specific situation, there is still ample time to close an escrow. That being said, if the lender has not been diligent, you can try to negotiate some of the lender's fees. However, if these are seller fees, then it seems unlikely that they will be waived--you can ask your lender to absorb some seller fees . . . no telling what the lender will say.
