of the mountains and would like some trees if possible land size really does not matter as long as i have 2 pieces for two home or pover 75 acres so i can divide into two
Sorry to bother you if you've already been helped. Lots come in all sizes here. you can get regular town lots which there are plenty of or you can get 1 acre to 160 acre lots. For 35 acres the prices range from east of Pueblo $35,000 to $180,000.00 west of Pueblo, Co. There are many lots in many different areas. There is a place west of here that sell 5 acre lots with a right to drill a well. They range from $75,000.00 to $150,000.00.
let me know.

Jason, There are lots of ranch properties available all around Pueblo, and you do need to know about the water situation. Of course, the prices vary greatly. You can go to our website: http://www.puebloareahomesforsale.com to see area listings and contact us thru there. The mountains are usually no more than 1/2 hour from most locations around Pueblo. For example, we can see Pike's Peak, the Greenhorn Mtns and the Wet Mtns from here. It's really beautiful!
Good luck, make sure you have WATER, test the well!
Good morning Jason,
I personally love the Wet Mountain area which would place you less than 25 minutes from Pueblo (trees, mountain views). There is also the Penrose area (20 minutes) that people often desribe as 4 H properties. You have plenty of possibilties if you want to be within 40 minutes of Pueblo. Also, keep in mind, while it is true that you need a min of 35 acres to get a well permit there is a big BUT.... if a property has has been subdivided prior to the "new law" (late 80's, early 90's) and it is less than 35 aces you can get a well permit. It is important to know because there are plenty small acreage parcels available in Colorado but are often overlooked because of the "well issue". Usually a local realtor should be able to tell you which area was subdivided prior. If you are interested in the Fremont County area feel free to visit my site at http://www.sandrajeter.com

Views are pretty easy to find in Pueblo, trees can be a challenge sometimes. Are you planning on putting the two houses next to each other? Dividing can be an issue because of water. In Colorado you need a min of 35+ acres to get a well permit. And dividing can be an issue if the property has already been divided. Feel free to contact me via my web site and we can get more detailed. http://www.coloradowesternland.com
