good buy and do they appreciate as fast as free standing homes, and any new townhomes going into the denton area? I contact a local real estate agent, i met with one when i was in denton never heard back and i have email another about questions on property and no answers, another told the property was under contract and that was the end of it. I am amazed
To be quite candid, in Denton, there are very few townhomes, and they are worlds apart in quality. The majority, in my 30+ year Denton resident experience, are old, dated, and in undesireable areas, from an investor/price stability point of view. The others are upscale, very few and far between.
The way to get better service is to hire a broker, not just call or email. You see, until you commit to work with a broker, you fail to demonstrate the motivation level required to capture a professional broker's extremely sparse amount of discretionary time.
But by taking the plunge, you will likely get a motivated, competent broker's undivided attention. Qualified, motivated Buyers are exactly what broker's need these days, and they will usually go 100% to accommodate them.

Steve,
Sorry to hear about the service. We'll call you back if you call us. We try to answer all the time, but if not we try to call you back within the hour and certainly within 24hrs in most circumstances. We don't have a lot of townhomes/condos in Denton or much in North Texas. I think it is due to the amount of land available. We do have some. I think the one in Cobblestone did sell, but you'd have to give me the address for sure. I can send you an e-mail if any others come up if your interested. There is a fairly new place on soledad for sale in the $150s that is similar. I can email you info on those too if you're intersted.
Just let us know how we can be of service.
In this town duplexes are more common. But, there are a few townhomes on the market now. As the baby boomers start to retire, as they are, there will be more demand for townhouses and I suspect the appreciation will be greater. Is there a specific reason why you must have a townhome. There are many good deals on homes in this area right now. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 940-206-5450.
