You are going to want to call your city's housing agency and let them know you are interested in renting to Section 8 tenants. In my area, Section 8 does require an inspection of the property to make sure it is in good condition. Then the housing agency will put you on a list for prospective renters. Hope this helps and good luck.

You should check with your local government's housing department. They can explain the process to you. You may also want to go your county's website. Most likely they have information on the website. Good luck.

Find out who administers the program in your area. It will either be the local city government or the county. They will have to inspect your home and approve it. They may also have a waiting list of people who are already approved for the program and looking to rent.

Call your local housing authority and request an application (sometimes can be taken over the phone) submit the app. and they will send out an inspector to your house within a few weeks and if everything meets the qualifications in/outside of the house they can set you up with a renter and you could be recieving your 1st check within a month or two.
