This will depend on when you are planning on having settlement as well as the fees that you lender is charging for the loan. Ask your lender to give you a good faith estimate or your agent for an estimate of closing costs. Each area is specific so closing costs will vary.

Depending on the type of loan you are getting, you may see anywhere from no closing costs to upwards of $7 or 8K. As stated before, get with a lender and they could get a more accurate answer.

Nicholas,
This is a question for the loan officer/lender that has given you the pre-approval for your loan. If you have not yet been pre-approved, then I suggest that should be your next step. Ask the lender for a GFE, good faith estimate, of all loan costs and closing costs. They will give you the most accurate idea. Good luck!
roughly $8,000 but many of these cost are negotiable in the contract and many times you can ask the seller to pay the closing cost.
