It depends on what type of mortgage you have and the type of sale of the property. The standard length for obtaining your mortgage is 4-6 weeks. But, if you are purchasing a home that is a short sale or needs a 3rd party approval it could take longer to close. If you have any questions about the home buying process I would be happy to speak with you. Feel free to email me or call me at 860-368-8383.

Good luck!

Yes, depending on where you live the mortgage process length varies. I know average mortgage process in Sonoma County increased to over 30 - 40 days due to the increased demand and contracts (great housing prices and less inventory).

The length to process a mortgage could vary from lender to lender. I would suggest contacting multiple lenders in your area to find one that suits your needs.
