Hi Lori,

I left a response for you the other day regarding your question about the VA eligibility, and wanted to quickly follow up with you to make sure you received what you needed. Once you get past the VA thing, where are you guys wanting to look for a home?

Happy Holidays!

We do it electronically, it usually takes about a minute to type in the request.

It should only take a few days, however it depends on where you apply for the VA Loan. I have seen some come back in a few hours. Call me if you need an application to pre-qualify for a loan. I can fax it or email it to you. I should be able to have an answer for you that day. My cell is 318-21-4944.

Lori, most if the time the mortgage lender can get it back within a day or two, but there are exceptions. A great lender can work with you to get that directly from VA, so you have little to do except provide the documentation that the lender asks for.

My wife and I (Rollins Home Team) have worked with dozens of VA buyers over the years, so the process is seamless. If you are not already working directly with a local lender, let me know, and I can recommend a few that you can count on serving you well.

Check out our new website at http://www.ShreveportBossierAreaHomes.com. There is a lot of useful information there for home buyers and sellers. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Mrs. Ward,

I would love to help you in your search for the perfect home. My mortgage company I work very close with can order a COE and get it back within a day. Are you active or a veteran? If you are a veteran, the mortgage company would need a DD214 which you can go to the VA office and have them print one for you.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience so we can get started looking for your next home. You can visit my website to see all available properties on the market. http://www.hodgerealty.com

I look forward to working with you soon,

It normally doesn't take very long. A lender can normally give you a good idea of when they would get it back. If the lender isn't communicating with you, change. I'm VA, and have gone through that experience twice already myself. So, I can help walk you through the process. I'm a buyers agent with The W Group at Keller Williams. What that means is I am dedicated to helping you find, negotiate, and close on your new home. I don't have sellers calling me, go on listing presentations, or anything else that would distract me from helping my buyers. If this kind of dedication would help, check us out on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/TheWgroupOfRealEstate and then call me at the number below.
