Hi S - Plainfield has some beautiful historic areas, and then some rough areas as well. The Plainfields also include North and South Plainfield. I'm most familiar with North Plainfield and there are some great values there now - you enjoy proximity to highways (22 is so close), trains and buses as well as shopping.

Depending on your budget, you can find a very nice cape on a good sized lot for the low to mid $200's and a Colonial with upgrades in the $300's. There are also condos available in the $100's.

I'd be happy to assist you - you can reach out to me and I'll send you more info.

Best,

Hi S.

I answered a question about the Plainfield area not too long ago. I invite you to go through my posted comments. I've included the 2 links I could find the quickest. Remember, in the future if you want to ask a question about an area, please be as precise as possible on what you want to know. The market is very fluid in some areas and can differ greatly by what type of property and what neighborhood you're looking at.
