Peter gave you good info about values, but for crime stats I use:
http://www.ppdonline.org/

Zillow says the value for this house is up 4.2% this year. Here's the link:

Elizabeth,

The best source for criminal activity in any location is the local police department or county sheriff's department. They have access to the most current and accurate information and are generally very willing to be helpful.

Hello, Elizabeth,

It is difficult for an agent to give you very specific information about a property without being your Buyer Agent. When you enter that type of a relationship, the Agent is working directly for you, and should always protect your interests. Without that type of relationship, you will always be getting very general information.

If you would like to have a general overview of that zip code area, I can provide a statistical report for you which is based on public record information which I can access. Let me know if that will help you.

For all concerns about crime statistics, your best avenue for information is to contact the local precinct of the Police Department. Someone there will be able to give you all of the stats that you need. You also might try going to Phillyblog.com. There is lots of chatter on that site about neighborhoods and people who live nearby may be able to share their opinions with you!

Please contact me if you need further help.
