I have be trying to find listings with know luck every web sit wants me to buy the list but i know i don't have to. Also what it tax foreclosure sales and where do you get infomation on them.
I just answered this exact question for someone in Chicago.
Are you looking to buy at a foreclosure auction or post foreclosure? Here are some posts that will help you. Personally, I don't recommend buying a list from Realty Trac or elsewhere. I recommend hiring an agent, studying the market and knowing when to jump to get the best deal (foreclosure or not)

good luck!
Most of the agents in the Oshkosh area know which homes are bank owned....... just ask! If you have the patience to deal with the banks, there are some great homes available. Good Luck!
RealtyTrac is a fantastic website to view foreclosures. They do charge for membership to the website itself, but it is unlimited and you are not charged per list. You can get a free trial for a week or so at least. You can also get a list from your Sherriff's office of upcoming auctions and they list them in newspapers as well. Even better yet, don't be afraid to enlist a Realtor. Realtors often obtain lists if they are working in foreclosures. Foreclosures are often a can of worms as such and require a lot of digging to find out the true story. You might think about someone looking out for your best interest if you plan to pursue one.
Hi Care, the best place to get a foreclosure list is from a real estate agent......
