Not sure why you want to know the assessed value, as this is generally not a fair representation of market value (either high or low). Depending on your needs, a real estate agent can easily do a Market Analysis on the property. You may even want to get a few brokers to do them because some will give you an inflated price in hopes of getting you to list the property with them. Good luck and call with any questions. Christine is correct... there are some communities that have this information online at their town website... but not many yet in Maine...

The town hall will have the assessed value on record - Or ask a realtor to pull the tax card (from the town) and do an opinion of fair market value for you!
