FIRST ANSWER
If you are interested in a condo, I would make sure your Realtor does a market analysis on the home which are in a similar location and quality of the building as well as the age of the building. Price for the units are negotiable, but the Home Owners Association are not negotiable. These HOA fees are based on what the board has dictated the maintenance, and likely repairs to the building will be.
