how do I find people who will do land contracts or rent to own in the Jackson area?
I am just recently (18mos) out of bankruptcy. I had my identity stolen and lots of things on my credit. I have not missed a payment on anything of mine since 2004 and have been making every effort to clean up my credit. My score is just barely below 600. I am currently renting a townhouse, but an really wanting to move into a house that I can call my own. Any suggestions on where I can look for people who are offering lease with option or land contract? I have a good and stable job with the University of Michigan.

Maybe you should talk with a mortgage representative and see if there is a program that could help you.
Also the multi list system may have some land contracts and lease options. I can give you the name of
a couple of realtors in Jackson. Give me a call or email me and I can put you intouch with them.
