how difficult is it to apply for construction pemit by myself for Town of New Hempstead.?

we plan to renovate our kitchen and do some flooring work ourselves. do we need a permit for that?

Did you mean North Hempstead and exactly how major will the renovations be--will any walls be coming down, if so yes-- for a more accurate answer call the town yourself and hear firsthand.

FIRST ANSWER

In theory yes, you should get a permit for any work done in the house. If you do it yourself you can get a workers comp waiver and pull the permit and do ti all yourself.

I will say this, very few people pull permits for such small jobs.
