The Teacher Next Door houses in Denver are listed on the HUD website. The purchase of these properties can be used with the Federal $8,000 Tax Credit if purchased by December 1st. In addition there is new grant money for First Time Homebuyers that purchase properties in Denver that allows you to receive a Tax Credit for the value of 20% of your mortgage interest for the life of the mortgage. On a $200,000 home you could potentially receive a $50,000+ Tax Credit for the life of the mortgage.
There are other First Time Homebuyer Programs which can assist you with down payments.

You have to go to the HUD website where they have them all listed. They put them on each friday and thats the best time to look because usually they go pretty quick.
