The Ocean's Six Group’s answer
You could search through the tax records to see which loans are higher than the listing price of the homes for sale. Otherwise, give myself and my team a call. We can provide the listings for you a lot quicker and for no cost and no obligation.

Any agent would be able to help you find short sale properties.
My advice is find an agent familiar with short sales. Also an agent you are comfortable with.Short sales can be a long drawn out process so you better feel confident about your agent's abilities.

Any agent can find you a short sale. What they do with it is another issue.
If you want to BUY a property that is a short sale call Ray Garry.
He works with me and is very good at cutting the red tape.

Best to work with an agent trained in short sales. There is a lot of time, phone calls and proper paperwork involved in making a short sale happen. Listings are not supposed to show short sale info in the public remarks section. An agent can acquire this information. Be prepared for a potential lengthy process as well. It is very important to have all the ducks in a row when presenting the offer. Otherwise, any missing paperwork delays the process even further, some instances back to square one. Hope this helps.

To find short sale properties, get an Accredited Buyer's Representative. You can find one at http://www.rebac.net.

Most MLS allows for an member(agent) to set up an automatic search critieria. They can have emails set directly to you daily in the price range and towns that you are specific looking for short sales. Contact a local agent in your area of choice.

Consider working with an agent of your own--any local agent can help you, contact any realty office(s) and inquire or contact any local Trulia contributor(s) directly and ask.
