Edward,
Yes, Windsor Landing is a GREAT location and offers it residents the benefits of a luxury community. However, our recommendation is to not commit until you have explored other options.....you may come back to Windsor in the end, but you will have testes the waters of other similar locations.

We would be delighted to help you explore. Let us know if we can help.
Good luck,

I specialize in this area and must say it sounds a bit on the high side. I also maintain a blog about real estate in this area which I encourage you to check out. I would definitely give more value to the homes built by Royal Palm vs Lennar and Beazer, but the highest priced home in Windsor Landing as of today is $655,000. Throughout my real estate career, I've noticed that the most expensive homes in a community tend not to do quite as well with resale value. The median price of homes available for sale in this community is currently $550,000. For that amount of money, you can probably find a better deal at Whitney Isle, Reserve at Belmere, and Belmere right across the street.

That is a lot of money for that neighborhhood. I bought in a neighborhood that was built by the same builder at the same time, only in a location closer to Disney and the more prestigious Windermere area. My house is 3860 square feet plus with a pool and a fantastic back yard, in a fantastic location, and given the current market conditions, I have been advised to sell for closer to 625,000. I would not consider paying 700,000 for ANY house in Windsor landing and I looked at it extensively.

I live in Ocoee and know the area. Actually, most of the homes in Windsor Landing are being offer at far below $700,000 now due to the market conditions. There is a 5 bedroom 4 bath pool home with almost 4000 square feet listed at $640,000. And of course we would negotiate down from there. I hope this helps. - Alfred Leopold, Ameriteam Realty, Inc.

Hi,
WIndsor Landing is in my market area and is one of my favorite communities. Its interesting as all the communities around it have either a Gotha address or a WIndermere address. The neighborhood has very good schools and has a private walking path to Thornbrooke Elementary so its been a magnet for families with young children. The tile roof standard will serve the community well as it ages....ever see an older community with asphalt/fiberglass roofs????
Now specifically to your question...700K should get you one of the larger homes at LEAST 3500 sq. feet and a pool. There are homes in Windsor Landing with more than 4000 sq. ft and a pool that your price range would work.. Barbara Vance, Prudential Florida WCI.
