just because you put in an offer on a home - or two or ten - doesn't mean they're going to be accepted.
you may have been up against COMPETITION to buy the same home.
yes it could be right. were your offers "good offers"?
I have to believe what was meant was: There were several other offers and they chose a better offer than yours. It's happening every day, especially on short sales, especially on foreclosures, especially in the starter-home price ranges, homes that are priced right, homes with motivated sellers.......there are multiple offers on every GREAT BUY!
