A foreclosure notice should have identifying info on it.
Basic things like:
The name of the lender
If these items are absent it could be a scam.
Banks have their OWN foreclosure departments. The notice should come from them not some lawyer

They may enlist a Lawyer; maybe that's the norm in R,I,
but I haven't heard of it.
It also may be a SCAM; be aware of that.
I would suggest looking at your last statement from the Bank and calling them;
you didn't say that you weren't behind to them.
